We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, such as your email address and username. We also collect usage data such as the content you generate, models you use, and credit transactions. When you make a purchase, payment is processed securely by Stripe — we never store your card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve Records AI, process transactions, send you service-related communications, and enforce our Terms of Service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Content You Generate
Images and videos you generate are stored in association with your account so you can access them in your library. You retain full ownership of your generated content. We do not use your generated content to train AI models without your explicit consent.
4. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We may use analytics tools to understand aggregate usage patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect some functionality.
5. Data Sharing
We share your data only with service providers necessary to operate Records AI (such as Supabase for database hosting, Stripe for payments, and AI model providers for generation). These providers are contractually required to protect your data. We may also disclose data if required by law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information and generated content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable steps to protect your data.
8. Children's Privacy
Records AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our site or sending an email. Continued use of Records AI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
